Rava Dosa Recipe / Semolina Dosa / Instant Suji Dosa - Dosa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Suji / Semolina / Bombay Rava
- 1/2 cup Maida / All purpose flour
- 1/2 cup Rice Flour / Biyyam Pindi
- 1 cup thin Butter Milk
- 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
- 2 sp finely chopped Ginger
- 2 sp finely chopped Green Chillies
- enough Salt
- Oil for dosa
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl combine above all ingredients (except oil) mix together and prepare a thin batter with enough water and keep aside for 10 mins.
- Heat a non-stick tava and grease it lightly with oil, when hot pour a ladle full of the mixed rava batter on the hot tava.
- Now apply 1 sp of oil around the edges of dosa and also apply in the holes of the dosa and cook it on high flame till it turns golden brown.
- When done flip the dosa on the other side and cook for 30 secs and remove from the pan.
- Repeat the procedure for the next dosa, by mixing the batter well and prepare dosas.
- Now rava dosas are ready to serve, serve hot with coconut chutney or allam chutney.
