Raw Banana Soya Curry / Aratikaya Kura with Soya Chunks / Raw Banana and Soya Chunks Fry

Ingredients

  • 1 no Raw Banana/Aratikaya
  • fistful Soya Chunks
  • 2 Green Chillies chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 Tomato chopped
  • 1/2 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 sp Urad Dal
  • 1/2 sp Chana Dal
  • 1 Red Chilli crocked
  • few Curry Leaves
  • 2 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash, peel the skin of the aratikaya and cut into small cubes, boil them on stove top along with salt and turmeric powder till done, once cooked drain them. Meantime, wash well soya chunks and soak in warm water for 10 mins.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, when done add curry leaves, chopped onion, green chillies and saute it well till the onion turns translucent & then add chopped tomatoes and cook till soft.
  3. Add in ginger garlic paste and mix well. Cook for 30 secs, then add squeezed soya chunks and mix well, now add cooked aratikaya pieces and mix well.
  4. Add red chilli powder, chopped coriander leaves and mix very well, continue to cook for a couple of mins on low flame with a lid, after that remove the lid and mix well, now aratikaya soya kura is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve.
