Saggubiyyam Bellam Payasam / Sabudana Kheer With Jaggery / Javvarisi Payasam - Payasam Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Sabudana/Javvarisi/Sago
- 2 cups grated Jaggery/Bellam
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- 11/2 cup boiled nd cooled Milk
- few Dry Fruits
Instructions
- Wash and soak sabudana for 10 mins and then pressure cook for 2 whistles with 2 cups of water. Once cooled open the lid and keep aside.
- Meanwhile, take jaggery with 1 cup of water in a bowl and bring it boil, once the jaggery dissolves in water completely, filter the jaggery syrup and let it boil again for 5 mins. Add elaichi powder, sago and cook for 1 min on low flame, then turn off the flame and allow it to cool.
- Once cooled add milk and mix everything well. Now fasting recipe saggubiyyam bellam payasam is ready to serve.Transfer into serving bowls, sprinkle chopped dry fruits and serve.
