Sambar Powder / Pulusu Podi

Ingredients :

  • 1/2 cup Chana Dal
  • 1/4 cup Urad Dal
  • 1 cup Coriander Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Pepper Seeds
  • 2 tsp Methi Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds

Preparation :

  • Dry roastĀ above all ingredients, until they become golden brown in color.
  • Transfer to a plate and let it cool for some time.
  • Once done ground them into a fine powder and store in a airtight container.
