Semiya Halwa Recipe/Vermicelli Sheera-how to make Vermicelli Halwa-Halwa Recipes
Ingredients
- 1 cup Semiya / Vermicelli
- 3/4 cup Sugar
- 2 cups Water
- 1 pinch Elaichi Powder
- few chopped Cashew Nuts
- 2 sp Ghee
Instructions
- Heat ghee in a pan add chopped cashew nuts and fry for 1 min, then add vermicelli into it and stir.
- Meanwhile, set another bowl with 2 cups of water on the stove to boil.
- Roast vermicelli until brown, then add in boiled water and stir well, let it cook on low flame till it becomes soft.
- Then add sugar, elaichi powder and mix well, cook until the sugar completely dissolved.
- Allow to cook until it becomes thick, then turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl, semiya halwa is ready to serve, serve hot or chilled.
