Semiya Soya Palak Upma Recipe/Vermicelli Soya Spinach Upma - Upma Varieties
Ingredients
- 1 small cup Semiya / Vermicelli
- 1 cup chopped Spinach
- 1/4 cup Soya Granules
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 Onion chopped
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/2 sp Chana Dal
- 1/2 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Wash and soak soya granules in hot water for 10 mins and keep aside.
- In a bowl add 3 cups of water, little salt, 1 sp oil and allow it to boil, when it start boiling add the vermicelli and cook for 3 to 4 mins.
- Once semiya is cooked turn off the flame and pour into a strainer to drain water, pour cold water over it and keep aside for cool.
- Heat oil in pan add popu ingredients and fry, once done add curry leaves, chopped spinach and mix well.
- Let it cook for 2 to 3 mins, then add squeezed soya granules to it and stir-fry for 1 min, now add boiled semiya and salt. Stir gently until the vermicelli mix completely.
- Then cover and cook another 1 more min, after that turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl, now semiya soya palak upma is ready to serve, serve hot with out chutney.
