Shahi Paneer Recipe - how to make Shahi Paneer

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped Paneer
  • 2 Tomatoes chopped
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 1 pinch Turmeric Powder
  • 1/4 sp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/2 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1/4 sp Amchur Powder
  • Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Cream
  • 2 sp Ghee / oil
  • 1/2 sp Sugar

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and fry, then add chopped onion.
  2. Saute until onions are soft and slightly browned, add turmeric, red chilli, amchur powders and stir well, fry them for a while.
  3. Next add tomato pieces, salt and cook until the tomatoes are soft, when done add 1 cup of water and bring it to a boil.
  4. When the gravy thickens a little add the paneer pieces, sugar, garam masala powder, cream and mix it slightly.
  5. Let it cook for another 2 mins on low flame, turn off the flame and transfer into a serving bowl.
  6. Garnish with coriander leaves and cream, now shahi paneer is ready to serve, serve with roti or fried rice.
