Soya Tomato Gravy Curry/Soya Chunks Tomato Masala Curry

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped Tomatoes
  • 1 cup Soya Chunks
  • 1 Onion finely chopped
  • 1 sp Ginger Garlic Paste
  • 2 Green Chillies
  • 1 sp Coriander Powder
  • 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
  • 1 sp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 sp Garam Masala
  • Salt to taste
  • For Popu :
  • 1/2 sp Cumin Seeds
  • 1 pinch Inguva
  • chopped Coriander Leaves
  • Curry Leaves
  • 3 sp Oil

Instructions

  1. Wash and soak soya chunks in hot water and keep aside.
  2. Heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds, hing and fry, add green chillies, curry leaves, chopped onion and stir.
  3. Fry them till they become transparent, then add ginger garlic paste, turmeric powder, coriander powder and stir.
  4. Add chopped tomatoes and cook, cook the tomatoes on medium flame till they become soft.
  5. Now add soaked soya chunks, salt, red chilli powder and stir well.
  6. Add 1/2 cup of water, garam masala, coriander leaves and mix well.
  7. Cook on low flame for couple of mins and then turn off the flame.
  8. Soya tomato gravy curry is ready, transfer into a serving bowl and serve with chapathi.
