Tomato Carrot Maramaralu Upma/Tomato Carrot Puffed Rice Upma - Upma Varieties
Ingredients
- 1 bowl Puffed Rice/Borugulu
- 1 Tomato finely chopped
- 1 Carrot grated
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1/4 sp Turmeric Powder
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1/4 sp Cumin Seeds
- 2 Red Chillies crocked
- Curry Leaves
- Coriander Leaves
- 2 sp Oil

Instructions
- Take a wide bowl with water and add the puffed rice, soak for a while and then squeeze out the water and keep aside.
- Heat oil in a pan add popu ingredients and fry, then add chopped onion, green chillies, curry leaves and stir.
- Once done add tomato pieces and cook for 1 min, now add grated carrot, turmeric powder and mix it well, cover and cook until soft.
- Then add puffed rice, salt and mix well, add coriander leaves and cook on low flame with cover for 1-2 mins.
- Tomato maramaralu upma is ready, transfer into a serving bowl, garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
