Rice Rava Coconut Upma / Kobbari Biyyam Rava Upma - Upma Varieties
Ingredients
- 1 cup Rice Rava
- 1 cup grated Fresh Coconut
- 2 Green Chillies chopped
- 1 sp chopped Ginger
- 21/2 cups Water
- Salt
- 1 sp Mustard Seeds
- 1 sp Chana Dal
- 1 sp Urad Dal
- 1 Red Chilli crocked
- Curry Leaves
- 3 sp Oil

Instructions
- Heat oil in a khadai add popu ingredients and fry.
- When they splutter add ginger, green chilli pieces, curry leaves and stir.
- Add grated coconut and stir for 1 min on low flame.
- Now add water, enough salt and bring it to a boil.
- Once the water starts boiling, pour the rice rava and stir well.
- Cover with a lid and lower the heat, let it cook until all the water is absorbed.
- Turn off the heat and leave it for 2-3 mins with cover.
- kobbari biyyam rava upma is ready, serve hot with chutney powder or chutney.
